Nasinu Rugby Football Union president Paula Biu said its new five-year sponsorship deal had only furthered the union’s strides to expose untapped talent within Nasinu.
After supporting Nasinu Rugby for the past three years, Ram Sami Ltd last week continued its partnership until 2025. “The union has progressed so much in the past three years with Ram Sami’s support,” Biu said.
“Every year we progress from stage to stage, and that is evident in both the club games every weekend and our performance in the Vanua Championship.”
The sports sponsorship agreement was signed between Ram Sami & Sons director, Prashneel Sami Goundar and Biu last week amounting to $40,000 per year until 2025.
“Their supporting in providing logistical support to run our weekly competitions allows us to expose untapped talents in the union of which we have many, and bring the best out of Nasinu for not only the union but possibly national duty.”

Ram Sami now secures naming rights of NRFU team and rights to NRFU’s 15s competition and any other competition that NRFU stages in, Biu said.
