FORMER Fiji 7s utility backline Amenoni Nasilasila has been named in the Fiji 7s team extended squad to the Pacific Games in Samoa in July.

Nasilasila is part of the 37-member extended squad to the games.

The Namatakula lad seeks a second chance to prove himself in Samoa if selected in the final team.

He is also trying to make a comeback into the Fiji Airways Fiji 7s team as they build up towards the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo.

Twelve players will be selected to represent Fiji.

“Despite the situation I’m going through, I still want to use that talent to play for my country,” Nasilasila said.

Meanwhile, Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber has the London and Paris 7s tournaments to focus on at the end of the month.
