A 38-YEAR-old businessman of Narere will be produced in the Nasinu Magistrates Court for allegedly raping a 25-year-old woman who had come to him for help.
It is alleged the suspect committed the offence in Narere, Nasinu, last Friday.
Police said the man was drinking with the victim’s husband when an argument broke out between the couple.
Police said the victim had sought assistance from the man where he allegedly took her in his car and later raped her.
The man is in Police custody.
