Former acting commissioner of police Ravi Narayan has opened a private investigation agency.
And he will also propose to relevant government authorities that private investigators be recognised in the country through legislation.
Mr Narayan, 57, retired from the Fiji Police Force on August 4 after 37 years of service. He was the acting police commissioner when he retired.
The former police officer, who was decorated with many commendations and awards during his service in the police force, has opened his private investigation agency at Navo in Nadi.
Known as RNI or Ravi Narayan Investigations, the private agency has already started receiving cases for investigation since its opening recently.
“As a full private investigation agency, we intend to offer many services to our private and commercial clients,” said Mr Narayan.
