Assistant Minister for Education Joseph Nitya Nand is on a tour of remote schools in the Ra province.
He visited Nailuva District, Naqaqa SDA Primary, Tokaimalo District, and Nalaba District school yesterday.
Mr Nand had the opportunity to speak to teachers and get a first-hand look at the distribution of home-based education support learning materials.
He also distributed library books that will be issued for students to read at home during the school break.
His tour of Ra schools ends tomorrow.
