Namosi Secondary School leads the medal tally for the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 1 girls and boys division after day one at the ANZ Stadium in Suva yesterday.
Namosi made a clean sweep in the 1500 metre events, raking in all the gold medals from both divisions.
Marisela Kalokalosere won the event in the sub-junior girls grade while her male counterpart Iosefo Tuvere claimed first place in his event.
In the junior grade, Talica Nataro won gold while Sitiveni Patrick won it for the boys. In the intermediate grade, Ana Nairabelevu came in first place for the girls while Marika Waqanibau claimed gold for the boys.
In the senior grade, Salome Vakatabawai claimed victory in the girls division while Iowane Mariaviani took the victory in the boys division.
Namosi Secondary leads the boys division with four gold, three silver and one bronze medal.
Mahatma Gandhi Memorial is in second place with one silver medal while Nasinu Secondary School is in third place with one bronze medal.
