LOVE should not kill, love should not hurt, stop domestic violence.

This was part of a strong message delivered to members of the Nadi public as about 150 people braved the scorching heat of the Western Division yesterday to march across Namaka as part of the country’s observance of the 16 Days of Activism.

Among the brave were a group of women from Lautoka all draped up in their beautiful red saris who were representatives of Lautoka Sanatan Naari Sabha.

President Shanti Sharma said the event was particularly important for the public as domestic violence continued to rise in the country.
