NAKASI High School’s head of physical education, music and arts and crafts (PMEC) Ashmeeta Raj, believes the school is on the right track of maintaining its record of sending athletes to the Coca-Coca Games this year.

“We are a small school located in the interior of Nakasi,” Raj said.

“Despite the minimal facilities at the school, we always make the effort to send the best of our students to the Triple N zone and from there to the Coca-Cola Games.”

Raj said despite their small numbers, the athletes always put their full effort into all events they participate in.

“The aim is to send athletes to at least seven events at the Coca-Cola Games.”

Raj believes they have prospects of going one better in this years games.

“Our best achievement so far at the Coca-Cola Games has been a bronze medal win, with the capabilities I have seen from our athletes, I believe we can bring back the gold for our school this year.”
