Naitasiri u19 rugger appears in court; granted bail

A Naitasiri Under-19 rugby player accused of punching a referee during a Skipper Cup match last Saturday appeared at the Nausori Magistrates Court today.

Keresi Maya appeared before Nausori magistrate Shageeth Somaratne.

Mr Maya is charged with one count of assault causing actual bodily harm.

He has been granted bail on strict conditions by the court.

The case has been adjourned to September 18, 2020.
