Naidu wants title fight after win

NADI’S Ronald Naidu is looking forward to a title bout after beating Rakuro Daunivavana in the Kiran Boxing Promotions program at the Tilak High School hall on Saturday.
Naidu dominated the fight despite Daunivanana’s late surge in the 8×6 minute contest.
The last fight between the two ended in a draw.
Naidu said it was a better fight for him this time.
“I trained for two weeks but it was disrupted by the adverse weather conditions,” Naidu said.
“It was a good fight. I would like to thank all the fans who turned up in numbers for the program and also my sponsor M Recht Accessories and the guys at Mulomulo Boxing Club.
“Rakuro is a good boxer. This was my second bout with him so I knew what to expect. Now I’m aiming for a title fight.
Naidu won on a unanimous decision with 78-75, 77-75, 76-75 points on the score card.
