ESALA Nauga has revealed that his brigade will not be taking the Handy Finance Naitasiri Northern Bulls lightly in this weekend’s fourth defence of the HFC Bank Farebrother-Sullivan Trophy in Sigatoka.
The soft-spoken BLK Nadroga rugby head coach said the Bulls would be determined to clinch the title.
Last week, the Bulls defeated Cakaudrove to set up a challenge match against Nadroga which head coach Manasa Radrotini said would be a cherished moment for his players who were playing at a lower competition.
“We will go back and prepare ourselves like any other team,” Radrotini said after their victory over Cakaudrove on Saturday.
“Farebrother is an important game and we know that Nadroga will be a tough team to beat at home but we’re going to give our shot against them.”
Nauga said the Bulls should never be underestimated.
“They have worked hard to reach this level and I believe it’s going to be like any other challenge match,” he said.
“We’re not taking this game lightly. We’ll be out there to defend the title and try to lift our performance to another level.”
Nadroga is likely to miss its key players in star fullback Apisalome Waqatabu, strong running centre Savenaca Rawaca and hardworking forwards Apisai Domolailai and Eremasi Radrodro.
