THE Nadroga Rugby Union is urging all fans to move forward despite last week’s loss against Suva in the Skipper Cup final.

Union president Tiko Matawalu said Nadroga would not be demoralised by last week’s defeat but will regroup and gear up for the Farebrother Challenge next weekend.

“I urge all Nadroga rugby fans to put the loss aside and rally behind the team towards the Farebrother Trophy Challenge on July 6, 2019,” Matawalu pleaded.

“The Players and Team Management has given their shot at the Skipper Cup 2019 match last week, unfortunately, the win didn’t come about as anticipated. However, morale is still high knowing that they have given their best but God had the final say which we in camp have accepted.

“We had our thanksgiving service last Sunday for the Skipper Cup 2019 journey and now have shifted our focused to the HFC Farebrother Trophy 2019.”

“Nadroga rugby offers our public apology to our fans and followers and do hope that we can always forgive and move on. There is more learning for everyone in moving forward.”

The Stallions will wait for the end result of the match between Naitasiri and Nadi to determine their next opponent and venue.
