The Nadroga Rugby Union has named its 30-men squad to represent the provincial team to New Zealand next month.
Union president Jikoibau Matawalu said playing against a Kiwi team would assist them in their preparation for the Skipper and Farebrother season.
“Club and provincial rugby in New Zealand is more competitive and for Nadroga to face one of the best clubs in the country is a bonus to us as we gear up for another rugby season in Fiji,” Matawalu said.
“Nadroga fans and community in New Zealand have informed us of their expectations because this will be the first time Nadroga tours overseas for a rugby competition.”
The Farebrother champions will take on Southland Rugby at 6pm on Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Fred Booth Park in Waimumu, New Zealand.
