THE Aviva Farms Sabeto Race Tracks have been thoroughly upgraded by civil contractors Flame Tree and Higgins for Saturday’s Sabeto Race.

Event creator Kim Beddoes commended the support given towards the annual event, especially by sponsors Flame Tree and The Fiji Times.

“There is a lot of pre-event clearing, grading and fencing to be done at the race site.

“Flame Tree has ensured our track is in great shape and ready for the races,” Beddoes said.

“Higgins is providing 250 metres of temporary fencing for the main stretch of the track. We are grateful for these companies’ support in providing the technical expertise and equipment to get this important work done.”

The event will be held on Saturday and about 100 horses from across Fiji are expected to compete in 10 races.
