Nadi back on track

DEFENDING champion Nadi aims to get its Vodafone Premier League title back on track after losing 1-2 to Suva last Sunday.

The Jack’s of Fiji Nadi side will play two games this weekend.

On Friday at Prince Charles Park, Nadi will host Lautoka at 7.30pm.

On Saturday at 3pm, Nadi will battle Rewa at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori.

Ba has taken a commanding lead in the league and is eight points ahead of nearest rival Lautoka.

With the two top teams guaranteed a spot at the 2017 Oceania Champions League, the upcoming matches would be important.

Nadi Football Association president Navneeda Gounder said there was still a long way to go in the league.

In another match on Saturday, Dreketi will play Labasa at 7pm at Subrail Park in a northern derby.

Points: Ba 25, Lautoka 17, Rewa 16, Suva 16, Labasa 15, Nadi 11, Dreketi 7, Nadroga 0.
