Nadera Panthers slay Navatulevu Herons

DEE Cee’s Nadera Panthers returned to its winning ways overcoming Navatulevu Herons 16-4 to win their Fiji National Rugby League Vodafone Cup match at Gospel High School grounds this afternoon.

The Panthers denied the visitors from Nadi any try-scoring opportunity with defence winning the game even with two players on the sin bin.

“To come back and win after our last match two weeks ago has been a boost for the team’s morale, especially heading into the business end of the competition,” Panthers coach Vulaono Dakuitoga said.

Meanwhile, the biggest upset of the day went to the Yasawa Saints who beat the Army Bears 19-16 at the AFL compound in Nadi.
