Naboro escapees interviewed and charged

TWO of the seven prison escapees that escaped from the Naboro Maximum Prison on Christmas Eve last year have been charged.
Chief of Intelligence and Investigation ACP Vakacegu Toduadua confirmed this in a police statement today saying Solomoni Qurai and Peniasi Qalibau were interviewed and charged this week for damaging property and escaping from lawful custody.
The other five prisoners namely Ulaiasi Qalomai, Filipe Delana, Mesulame Waqabaca, Josaia Usamaki and Bainivalu Tuimatavesi were charged earlier for two counts each for damaging property and escaping from lawful custody.
