Musunamasi farewelled in moving homecoming service

The late FNRL chairman Peni Musunamasi was farewelled today in a moving homecoming service at the FMF Gymnasium in Suva.

Hundreds of mourners from around Fiji and abroad were present as well as representatives from Fijis sporting organisations.

Representatives from the vanua, the church and the FNRL and Nadera Panthers in their eulogies commended the commitment and sacrifice of one rugby leagues greatest administrators of the sport.

Also present was National Rugby League International manager Tas Biteri.

Musunamasi was laid to rest at the Vatuwaqa Cemetery.
