Muslims should always stand up against injustice, said Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum on Monday at the Milad-un-Nabi Jalsa at the Jame Mosque in Lautoka.

He said this was each Muslims’ duty.

“Even if the injustice may not be done to you but to somebody else, you must stand up and speak up.

“It’s your farz. “Because that is the characteristic of a Muslim.

“We need to do something positive about it.

“Nobody is saying go and fight but do something positive about it.

“You should be known about that because that is the characteristic of our Prophet.”
