Minister for Health Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete and US ambassador to Fiji Joseph Cella participated in a shave-off event yesterday as part of the Movember campaign.

The initiative was also held to raise awareness on prostate cancer and a fundraiser organised for the Fiji Cancer Society.

Also taking part were US embassy officials and New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji Jonathan Curr.

For two months, the “bearded brigade” grew their beards out for the shave-off. Suva’s Sims The Barber was engaged for the event.
