MOU signed for safety awareness billboards

Update: 12:56PM A MEMORANDUM of Understanding signed yesterday by the Fiji Police Force and Blue Gas Fiji will see the company assist in erecting safety awareness billboards at various locations around the country for the next five years.

While acknowledging the contribution, Divisional Police Commander Southern SSP Tevita Waqabaca said community policing was an important aspect of policing and the company’s willingness to assist was greatly appreciated.

“Police cannot do it alone as we need the assistance of our stakeholders to reach out to our community and for Blue Gas Fiji to come on board and help the Fiji Police is truly appreciated and speaks volume of the confidence and trust, and support your company has for work of the organisation,” SSP Waqabaca said.

Director Blue Gas Fiji Ajay Punja said “you (Police officers) keep us safe and this is a small contribution from my company for the work that you do?.
