AUSTRALIAN Prime Minister Scott Morrison participated at the groundbreaking ceremony at the Peacekeeping and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief Training Camp in Nadi this afternoon.

The facility will be built at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Black Rock site in Votualevu.

In his address, Mr Morrison said apart from its importance in terms of the training of peacekeepers and in disaster response, the facility was also a sign of the deepening relationship between Fiji and Australia – one that was mutually beneficial.
