More than 93,000 criminal cases recorded in last five years

The Fiji Police Force recorded 93,122 criminal cases within the last five years in various parts of the country.

This is according to Fiji Police Force director strategic planning Senior Superintendent of Police Aporosa Lutunauga during the National Community Policing Syposium at the Pearl Resort in Deuba today.

There were 19,998 crimes recorded in 2016, while 2017 recorded 18,128 crimes, 17,728 in 2018. In 2019 there were 16,939 crimes and 20,329 in 2020.
