POPULAR for its free world-class medical services, the Mission at Natuvu Creek (MNC) in Buca Bay will now be directed by couple, Dr Denis and Ornella Kalbermatter.
Former directors, Dr Anibal and Nani Kalbermatter, officially handed the directorship reins to their son Dr Dennis and his wife last week.
A statement from the mission said on Wednesday last week the mission had bid farewell to the two, marking the end of their 10 years of service.
The mission’s assistant clinic manager Lina Tuidama said they had a number of medical teams from Australia and America who were scheduled to offer their free dental, surgical and other medical services at the mission this year.
The mission focuses on providing free medical and spiritual services to Fijians.
People outside Vanua Levu travel to the mission every year to access their world-class medical services.
