Ministry sign MOU with NGO

Update: 3:15PM THE Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation (Fiji).
An organisation focused on providing programs and training with the help of Government and community partnership, Lifebread Stay Connected Foundation (Fiji) will work with the ministry on similar projects.
While announcing the MOU in Lautoka today, Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Veena Bhatnagar said she was impressed by the vision and goals of the organisation.
“We are very proud to be associated with an organization such as this, one that correlates not only with the goals of our Ministry but commits in actuality to making life better for our Fijian women,” she said.
She said the ministry would assist the group in the establishment of a multi-purpose training centre.
