TODAY is the most memorable day of my life because I got the chance to celebrate my 71st birthday and also vote for my candidate, said Nadakuni villager Kalivati Bebe after casting his vote at his village in Naitasiri yesterday.

Mr Bebe thanked the Almighty God for allowing him to celebrate another year of his life and to be able to make a difference with his vote this year.

He said if anyone missed the chance to cast their vote yesterday, they would not be counted and so they would not make a difference in choosing the next government.

This, he said, would be a waste. He thanked the election office team for the easy voting process the villagers had to go through.

He said he would like to see a good government come into power after November 14 and he understood that this would depend on the votes cast during the election.

“I want to thank the villagers of Nadakuni for celebrating my birthday with me and also the Reverend.”

The pre-polling in Nadakuni Village started at 8am and ended at 2pm with a total of 209 voters.
