PERHAPS Dan Urai is as equally frustrated as me when trying to munch on some good old meat pie.
With the so-called meat pies now stuffed with tons of potatoes with a pinch of meat thrown in it for flavour, some popular eateries in Lautoka have now resorted to chicken soup packs when cooking dishes like fried rice and chop-suey.
And they are so proudly displayed in their food warmers.
All we savour are the bones.
Where’s the meat?
