FIJI Airways Flying Fijians coach John McKee has named a strong side to take on France this Sunday.
The Fiji Rugby Union has released the names of Campese Ma’afu, Ssam Matavesi and Manasa Saulo to make up the front row, while Tevita Cavubati and Leone Nakarawa will be at locks.
Dominiko Waqaniburotu will captain the team from flankers position and will be paired by Peceli Yato as Viliame Mata shifts to number eight.
Vanua Levu lad Frank Lomani returns to pair with Ben Volavola at the halves combination, while Vereniki Goneva and Josua Tuisova will make the wings.
Jale Vatabua will accompany Semi Radradra at centres and Metuisela Talebula retains his spot at fullback.
Mesulame Dokokoto, Semi Kunatani and Eroni Sau are some of the names to start off the bench.
In a statement issued by the FRU today, McKee said he knew his side would face a tough encounter against the French, who they had not played since 2014.
“With many players performing well last week against Uruguay, there were some hard questions posed around selection this week, and the team to run on the field is the team we believe will beat France,” he said.
“They will go into the last game of the November Test series with some confidence from their win against Argentina. We know that once again we must be on top of our game in our team defence and to counter their maul.”
