MBHS inducts 90 student leaders

MORE than 90 students were badged during the Marist Brothers High School prefects induction today.

Joshua Lewenilovo was inducted as  the head boy of  the school.

Michael Hennigs and Viliame Reketilako were badged deputy head boys for Year 13 while Geried Furivai and Setoki Waqaliva were badged deputy head boys for Year 12.

Attorney-General and Minister for Economy Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum who was also a former student officiated as chief guest during the event which was held at the school hall.

Mr Sayed-Khaiyum encouraged the school leaders to lead by example and to perform their duties to the best of their ability.

Dozens of parents and guardians were also present at the event to congratulate the newly-appointed leaders.
