One must have the following “strengths” to be able to do a good shopping at the Lautoka market.
Be flexible to meander through the crowd, duck under and step over things and or people.
Be able to spot a good bargain, dollar wise.
Be strong to lift all your shopping to the third floor of the car park at the mall.
Have the patience of a saint, when people in front of you are blocking the aisle.
Be frugal like a good businessman.
Be early to get good parking.
Be able to smile even though you want to karate chop some selfish shoppers.
Oh, and keep a few coins to give to the many beggars.
