As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to impact the country, members of the Suva Bowling Club did their part to help affected communities by organising the Suva Bowling Club market day in Suva yesterday.

A wide range of products and homemade mouth-watering delicacies including handicraft items and pot plants were displayed and sold at the event with proceeds generated to be used to assist those affected by COVID-19.

“Our market is held every Sunday,” said Suva Bowling Club manager and organiser Maureen Lavaki.

“We just try to provide something for those who have been recently unemployed to make sure they go home with something for their families at the end of the day.”
