March parliament sitting deferred to April

THE Parliamentary business scheduled for March 16-20, 2020 has been deferred to the Parliament sitting scheduled for April 27 to May 1, 2020.

This is according to the Business Committee which met this afternoon and unanimously approved of the schedule.

According to a statement pursuant to Standing Order 102 of the Standing Orders of the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji, the Attorney-General and Minister for Economy the Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum will lay before Parliament a Supplementary Budget on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at 7.30 p.m.

Subsequently, the supplementary budget debate week will take place from Monday, April 6 to Thursday, April 9, 2020.
