Maramatoko wins brand new Isuzu DMax

From hailing cabs and agonising bus rides to owning her very own vehicle, 42-year-old Makereta Maramatoko today officially received a $96,000 brand-new Isuzu DMax from Carpenters Fiji.

In an interview with The Fiji Times, Ms Maramatoko was overwhelmed and was still coming to terms with the fact that she was the major winner for the Season of Joy Christmas Promotion.

“I shop at Max Val-U at least three times a week and I purchase a lot of FMF products,” she said.

With purchases of $30 or more, Ms Maramatoko entered as many times as she could.

“As a business owner at Kubukawa Rd, Nasinu, this has truly been a blessing, I will save money on travelling expenses and will now be able to visit my parents more often,” she shared.

What she initially thought was prank call turned out to be a blessing she had quietly hoped and prayed for.

Fiji Times Online understands that there was a total of 19 million entries for the promotion, significantly more than last year’s five million entries.
