Man pleads guilty to burglary and theft charges

A MAN who robbed a cafe in Pacific Harbour appeared before judge Justice Riyaz Hamza in Suva today.

Etika Toka is charged with a count each of aggravated burglary and theft.

It is alleged that Mr Toka entered into the cafe and dishonestly appropriated $2500.

It is alleged the incidents occurred on June 24 last year.

Mr Toka pleaded guilty to the charges against him.

He was further remanded.

The case has been adjourned to July 9.
