A MAN charged with a count each of burglary and theft has elected the Nasinu Magistrates Court to hear his matter.

It is alleged that Sunia Bainivalu, 32, entered a person’s house and stole assorted items to the total value of $2480 on October 16, 2018, in Nasinu.

Police prosecutor Setareki Mocevakaca served full phased disclosures and objected to Mr Bainivalu’s bail on the grounds that he had similar pending matters before the Nausori and Nasinu Magistrates Court.

Magistrate Sufia Hamza has remanded him and has adjourned the case to November 5.
