Fiji Roads Authority CEO Jonathan Moore said the closure is
due to surfacing works to be carried on the road from 7pm on Friday until 10am
on Saturday.

“Motorist are advised
to use Ono Street and Reservoir Road through Edinburgh Drive as detour routes,”
Mr Moore said.

“Motorists are also
advised to drive with care at the intersection as there is a difference in the
levels,” he said.

“There will be times
when traffic will be reduced to one lane. Most of the works will be carried out
in the night. Full traffic management will be present on site to guide
motorists safely through the site.”

Mr Moore said travellers along this area are advised to take
this notice into account when finalising travel plans.
