Just five months after being employed as Chief Executive Officer of the Land Transport Authority (LTA), Flagon Bekker has resigned from the position.
The LTA Board announced Mr Bekker’s resignation in a statement saying the Board although disappointed with his early departure, understands and respects the need for Mr Bekker to attend to his personal matters.
Mr Bekker whose resignation was effective on Friday December 16, 2022 commenced his role as CEO on July 4, 2022 and had been in close discussion with the Board on his resignation notice.
A decision will be made on the announcement of a CEO in consultation with the Minister for Transport
