CHURCH members at the World Harvest Centre in Kinoya were today reminded that they only have one mother in this world and we must love and care for them to the best of our ability.

This was the message conveyed today by church president Reverend Suliasi Kurulo as he summed up the sermon at the Mother’s Day service today.

Citing the powerful participation by the mothers as they led the service, Rev Kurulo said it was always a different experience when mothers delivered the sermon in that there was possibly nothing that could stay hidden.

He said mothers would unearth everything to shed light to aspects of our life that needed that light.

Speaking in the iTaukei language, the church president joined the church in acknowledging the lives, roles and teachings of every mother.

He said some have lost their mothers, including him – he lost his mum more than 30 years ago – and like many others, they were still remembered on many occasions.

But for those whose mothers are still alive, Rev Kurulo encouraged those people and impressed on the significance and importance of ensuring that they are loved, and are accord the best ever care possible while they are alive, and not regret anything when they’re gone.
