IT has been a breakthrough year for Frank Lomani.

After an impressive season with the Fiji Airways Drua, selected as one of the local-based players to join the Flying Fijians in the Europe tour, the 22-year-old has never looked back and grabbed every opportunity with both hands.

The Naitasiri scrum-half has been named by head coach and South Africa’s mentor Rassie Erasmus in the Barbarians squad to face Argentina
on Sunday at 3.30am, Sport24 reported.

Earlier this year he was signed by the Melbourne Rebels for a stint in the Super Rugby competition before he helped the Drua side win the National Rugby Championship for the first time.

On Sunday he was instrumental in the Flying Fijians 21-14 win over France.

He will play alongside some of the great players such as former All Black Wyatt Crockett, Italian wing, Tommaso Benvenuti, Luke Jones, Alexandre Menini, Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth and fl yhalf Handre Pollard.
