A TOTAL of 19 awards were presented to artists during the Procera Fiji Music Awards Nite held at the Holiday Inn Suva on Saturday Night.
Procera Music Shop director Mohammed Akif said the awards were organised to mark the achievements of local artists in the country.
“This is our 10th year of hosting these awards and over the years it has grown tremendously.
“The artists who had been nominated were very talented and worked hard throughout the year,” Mr Akif said.
“Procera is always trying to promote young and upcoming artist in the country. We give them the platform to showcase themselves. We also have our annual music festival every year for artists to promote and perform on stage.
“Our major sponsor again this year was Sambhu Lal Construction Ltd.”
