Liverpool maintain four-point lead at top of English Premier League points table

LIVERPOOL has maintained a four-point lead at the top of the English Premier League points table after 23 rounds.

According to the Premier League website, the top six remained unchanged on the standings.

Liverpool leads with 60 points, Manchester City in second with 56, Spurs third on 51 followed by Chelsea on 47.

Liverpool had to come from a goal down to defeat Crystal Palace 4-3 in a thriller which saw James Milner sent off late in the match.

Defending champions Manchester City keeps the pressure on the leaders with a convincing 3-nil win over Huddersfield.

In other matches, Spurs edged Fulham 2-1, Arsenal beat Chelsea 2-nil, and Manchester United edged Brighton 2-1 while Wolves beat Leicester 4-3.
