Lawyer Tupou Draunidalo has likely replaced former attorney general Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum as the Opposition Leader’s appointee to the Constitutional Offices Commission (COC).
She was seen entering Suvavou House this morning where a meeting of the COC is being held.
Leader of the Opposition Voreqe Bainimarama had earlier nominated Mr Sayed-Khaiyum to the position, however, this was retracted after the appointment was deemed unconstitutional and in breach of the Political Parties Act.
