NEWCOMER Siotame Kubu scored twice in Lautoka’s 3-0 victory against wooden spoon holders Navua during the Fiji Sun/Skipper Tuna National Football League at Churchill Park yesterday.
The Blues scored all the goals in the first half.
Leisari Qalica scored the other goal. Lautoka coach Lambert Sarju said some new boys were given the break ahead of the Inter District Championship.
Sarju said they were happy to finish strongly after a poor start in the competition.
“We gave game time to Epeli Kosa and reserve goalkeeper Viliame Tabucala,” he said.
“It was good exposure for these boys.”
Meanwhile in another game Rewa beat Nadroga 1-0 at Ratu Cakobau Park.
