Update: 5:42PM STRENGTHENING relationships with their tenants has remained a priority for the Ministry of Lands and teams have been deployed to areas of the North for consultation.

Divisional Lands officer North Josefa Vuniamatana led a team yesterday to Nagigi Settlement and Raranikawai where they were informed of issues and challenges faced by their tenants.

“This is simply taking our services out to our tenants because some of them live far from Labasa Town and can’t travel weekly or every day to town or to our office for our services,” Mr Vuniamatana said.

“So we are visiting our tenants in the various areas they live in and we hear from them the kind of challenges they face. And we help them right there and then with the advice of experts who are team members.”

The team will be at Wailevu, Vuo, and Tabucola tomorrow.
