LANDOWNERS have been encouraged to continue to share their knowledge to those in their landowning units after the conclusion of the three days workshop on the Fiji Land Bank.
This was stressed by Director of the Land Use Division Taraivini Ratumudu during the closing of the Fiji Land Bank landowners trustees workshop held at the Warwick Fiji in Sigatoka yesterday.
She believes landowners had gained sufficient knowledge through the presentations from various stakeholders.
“I urge all of you to share the knowledge you have gained from this workshop to those in your landowning units,” Ms Ratumudu said.
“The outcome of this workshop has been positive and to see all of you ask questions and share your views shows even more positive signs,” she said.
Over the last three days, the landowners who are trustees, were hosted to presentations from various organisations, including the Office of the Auditor General, UNDP, ANZ Bank, Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources, Kaiming Agriculture, Ministry of Agriculture.
Landowners from the Central, Eastern and Western divisions also received certificates at the end of the workshop today.
