Land in Lautoka to turn into housing blocks, says A-G

A stretch of land along Vomo Street in Lautoka will be turned into a housing block soon, revealed Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Kahiyum.

He told the Community of Supply in Parliament on Wednesday that these housing blocks would be for the Fiji Police Force.

“What you are saying in respect of the many of the Police barracks. Most of these barracks were built in the colonial times, in fact there has been no strengthening done, some of these police quarters actually got concrete decay,” he said.
