THE Fiji Labour Party will be filing their nominations of candidates at the Fijian Elections Office this afternoon.

This was confirmed by FLP parliamentary leader Aman Ravindra-Singh earlier today.

With Fiji’s 2018 General Election to be held on November 14, all nominations of candidates should be received by the Fijian Elections Office by October 15.

So far three out of the eight registered political parties eligible to contest the 2018 General Election have filed their candidates’ nominations.

The FijiFirst party, National Federation Party and the Social Democratic Liberal Party have filed their nominations with the FEO.

Earlier in the week FLP had stated that they will contest next month’s general election in partnership and co-operation with the Freedom Alliance Party.

The two parties will contest under the FLP banner and a possible coalition could be decided upon, after the November 14 polls.
