THE Fiji National University’s College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences (CMNHS) received lab equipment and consumables from the University of Otago’s Pacific Health unit last week.

Acting Dean CMNHS Dr Timaima Tuiketei acknowledged the continued support from the University of Otago towards enhancing tertiary education.

She said the equipment and consumables would enhance the learning outcomes of FNU students.

“We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has contributed to make this set of donation possible,” she said.

University of Otago representative Peni Qauqau said the university placed a lot of importance on maintaining connections and links to the Pacific countries.

“We hope that these equipment will help the students in their training and capacity building,” he said.
