LA 7s: Fiji downs Argentina in last pool game

The Fiji Airways Fijian men’s 7s team topped their pool after defeating Argentina 38-14.

They led 17-14 in the first half of play.

Award-winning Jerry Tuwai scored the first try, followed by Napolioni Bolaca and Aminiasi Tuimaba’s tries.

Ratu Napolioni Bolavucu succeeded in two conversions.

The Fijians were on fire in the second half with Tuimaba and Bolaca’s combination play resulting in their third try, and successfully converted.

Waisea Nacuqu and Alasio Naduva both scored a try each with one successful conversion.
