Two Fiji boxing titles will be at stake during the South Pacific Boxing Promotions program which is scheduled to be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on March 20.

Boxers Ronald Naidu is expected to face Nathan Singh for the vacant Fiji super lightweight title while Joseph Kwadjo is expected to return to the ring to take on Alivereti Kauyaca for the vacant Fiji cruiserweight belt.

South Boxing Pacific Promotions promoter Mukesh Chand said they were glad to stage the first professional boxing promotion for 2021. Chand said the approval from the Boxing Commission of Fiji had been granted for the program.

“Kwadjo had fought Savenaca Naliva twice for the Fiji light heavyweight title, so there is no problem about his credentials,” Chand said.

“Naliva will face Eroni Ligaloa in the undercard of the main bouts.

“This will be a buildup for Naliva for an International Boxing Organisation title fight.

Abhay Chand is expected to face Naitasiri ‘Hitman’ Jese Ravudi, which will be another 8×3 minute bout.
